God's Truck!

After a good amount of time praying, God provided a truck to use in the ministry. It has been such a great blessing already, there have been times of moving furniture, equipment, people, construction at the church building and towing trailers and vehicles. I know it will be used in so many other ways as well... may the glory always go to Him because of the use of this truck. Thank you Lord!!!

Tribute to the base house

The base house (of which there are many pictures of the building progress here in this blog) has been used in so many ways for the Lord's glory from housing teams to hosting Bible studies and sharing special moments like the ones below.

Thank you Lord for Your blessing over this house, and for allowing us to have a place to meet and fellowship, laugh and cry together. We trust that you will continue to use this place, whether we are in it or not. May Your will be done.

National Geographic article on the Tarahumara

Below is a link to the latest publication of National Geographic... if you have the time to read it I would recommend it.  It will give you more info and help you get to know/understand the Tarahumara better.  It might even give you new ways that you can be praying for them.  God bless.

Fun Poll Results

Below are the latest Fun Poll Results:

~ How do you prefer your toilet paper to hang??
-86% of those who answered said they prefer it to hang over the top away from the wall.
         - There are some of you out there 4% that prefer it to hang over and behind the roll next to the wall.
         - There are also some out there 8% who really don't have a preference.

Pretty fun... I must say that I am one of those people that have even gone as far as to change it so that it hangs over the top in front away from the wall when I see it differently.  Forgive me.

~ Where is your kitchen trash can??
         - The majority of you said that your kitchen trash can is NOT underneath of the kitchen sink.
         - A small percentage said that it is underneath of the kitchen sink.

This result was surprising to me I have to say, considering that many of the homes I've visited when I ask where the trash can is, they say... "under the sink".    Hmmmm.

Summer Teams 2008

We were able to have 3 different teams visit and help with the ministry going on down here, and each of them were a great blessing!  I can't thank each of you enough that have joined in the work and put your hands to the "plow" among the Tarahumara.  I also honestly can't tell you how much I appreciate your prayers, each of you that have spent time interceding for the teams, and the rest of the time that you intercede for the work and for the Indians themselves.  We'll only find out one day how truly effective your prayers have been.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.  Below are some pictures for your viewing enjoyment... I truly hope it helps you feel a bit like you are here, and draws your heart to pray for these people.  God bless.

Thanks Rocky Mtn Calvary & Brighton!!

These guys got to be the first team of the summer, and they got things off to a great start!  We got to see God move multiple times during the time they were here, thank you Lord.
